but somehow I managed to never hear this show in about 25 years of daily listening. Maybe because it is only available in low quality sbd or aud.
but ... now I've remedied that situation and I must say, this show and recording are really a fantastic way to spend some time.
Highlights:
The FOTD is the first one after the mid speed 1974 ones and it has a slightly quicker pace than the total slowdown that would occur later in this tour. I like it, it is unique and punchy.
The MISSION is just divine, I love the lyrics in this beautiful song. There is a lot of wisdom there!
Listening to this long, involved, beautiful SLIPKNOT at one point I thought I was listening to Jerry on MIDI from a 1990 show. No kidding, his tone is just so close to that sound. This slipknot is highly recommended.

While there is no spectacular AUD recording of this show in circulation (yet), this Jerry Moore copy sounds pretty good. Certainly better than the copy
...
used to patch the Soundboard. I recommend listening to the SBD, then switching to this show for the patches. The Help>Slip>Franklin's is most definitely worth the mouse clicking.
To echo my review of the SBD, this show is just solid throughout. Amazing performance for only their second show of '76.
